Hi! I’m Elizabeth
I'm so glad you are here!
I began this blog after taking nearly a decade off of library work to be a stay-at-home parent for my two kiddos. During that time, I had the opportunity to become a story time participant, which gave me a whole new perspective on children's library services. Through shared experiences with my own littles, I've also expanded my knowledge about the Montessori method, Occupational Therapy, positive discipline, and play theory. All of these experiences form my perspective on children's librarianship.

One need I consistently observe is the need for sharing children's services information across disciplines -- be it reading intervention, OT, story times at the library, circle time in the classroom, CBT, play spaces, and beyond. We all do so much of the same work, just in our different ways. Sharing what we know benefits the children we work with. All the information and observations on this site are for this purpose: to freely provide you, the children's services practitioner and the caregiver, a resource to utilize in your own caregiving areas. Please feel free to contact me and ask any questions you may have.

With love and peace!
